As part of the Human Rights Day celebration on 10 December 2013 in the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies at Eastern Mediterranean University, Tuğrul İlter, the Chair of the Center of Research and Communication for Peace, gave a lecture on "Veganism and Animal Rights" at 10:15 in FCMS 112.
